Nashville is the capital of Tennessee, and although the city got its name from a Revolutionary War General, it earned its nickname from its heart and soul, music. Indeed, Music City’s top attractions all revolve around music. Live music is everywhere, from the singers belting out tunes in the honky tonks on Broadway to the stars performing at the Ryman Theater and everywhere in between. The city not only showcases up-and-comers but also celebrates those that already struck it big with attractions such as the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Music City Walk of Fame, and numerous museums dedicated to both individual performers and entire genres of music. Even if you don’t love country music, the city has such an energetic vibe that you can’t help but get caught up in its electricity.
