We split our time in the Costa Rica between Arenal and Manuel Antonio. In Arenal, we stayed at Los Lagos Hotel and had tons of activities, including hanging bridges, a waterfall, a volcano hike, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and a coffee and chocolate tour. In Manuel Antonio, we had more unstructured time, taking advantage of our time at Tulemar Resort. We did take a tour of the national park and my younger son and I went horseback riding one day.
All of our tours were booked through Costa Rica Traveling Tours by Amanda, who did a fantastic job of selecting the activities and guides, as well as coordinating all of the transportation logistics for our group.
