One of my friends on our girl’s trip had been to Clearwater Beach once before and highly recommended the Sandpearl Resort. Unfortunately, it was booked for our weekend so we had to dig a little deeper in our search. Manuel Antonio Nature Tours Review

Our private guide for our group in Manuel Antonio was Edwin, the owner of Manuel Antonio Nature Tours. (See my full trip report here.) North Fields Coffee and Chocolate Tour Review

North Fields is a small family farm that grows both cacao trees and coffee plants. They offer a “farm to cup” tour, where you learn about everything from planting to harvesting to processing both cacao and coffee beans. After several days of more adventurous tours, this was a really nice change of pace. We meandered through the plantation, stopping at different stations to learn about the complex processes involved in making chocolate and coffee. Arenal Canopy Adventure Review

Overall we enjoyed our morning at the Arenal Canopy Adventure & Tarzan Swing. (See my full trip report here.) The company was very safe and the tour well run. There was a really large group at our tour time (maybe a dozen others in addition to our 11 people) and I was concerned about the wait time on each line. Wave Expeditions Review

We had a fantastic time with Wave Expeditions. We took the Balsa River Class II & III tour, which was roughly 13 km and two hours long. (See my full trip report here.)
