Last fall I met some college friends for a girls weekend in Newport, Rhode Island and instantly fell in love with the town. From its rugged coastline to the yachts sailing its harbor to the Gilded Era mansions sitting high on its cliffs, Newport is one stunning scene after another. I knew that I had to bring the boys here one day so when JB shared his disappointment over me visiting “the world’s smallest state” without him, I began plotting a summer road trip with Newport as our final destination.
