When my college girlfriends and I were looking for a quick February weekend getaway together, we quickly focused in on Florida. Choosing the exact location was a little harder. Since we were coming from several different parts of the country, we decided to let airport logistics drive the decision. Tampa was the consensus best option so that narrowed down our beach choices. We ultimately decided on Clearwater Beach, whose white-sand beaches, turquoise blue waters, stunning sunsets, and cute downtown area won us over.
