Many visitors to Portugal spend time in the country’s two largest cities, Lisbon and Porto. While you can easily take a train or plane between the two cities, there are some fantastic places to stop in between them as well. We took the train from Lisbon to Porto but chose to do a transfer tour on the way back. Stretching along the western edge of the country between its two largest cities, the Silver Coast has so many amazing places that a tour guide can take you in this area, and we ultimately settled on Aveiro, Nazare, and Obidos.
