Connecticut is the southernmost New England state, but as a native of New Jersey, it will always be part of the tri-state area to me. With the highest per-capita income in the country, it is often considered to be the resident state of the wealthiest NYC workers. From coastal cities to rural areas to historic sites, the state has a surprising amount of diversity for its size and offers lots of exciting places to explore.
