With this year’s big trip (Alaska!) falling over the summer, we wanted an easy, quick, and relatively inexpensive trip for spring break. Atlanta fit the bill. A 4.5 hour drive from Charlotte, Atlanta makes the perfect long weekend, city getaway. There are tons of family-friendly activities in Atlanta and its size is really manageable for a 4 day trip.
