Since Alaska is so vast and its rough terrain and associated lack of infrastructure make it difficult to travel to many parts of the state, many people opt to visit Alaska on a cruise ship. Cruises allow you to easily travel to several different coastal areas and at least get a taste of what the state has to offer.
We took a Disney Alaska Cruise through the Inside Passage. The cruise was round-trip from Vancouver with stops at Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, as well as a scenic cruise through Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier.
